The finished house
White walls, a stone entry and wide glass to the back yard. The lights at the entry and along the walls were placed with the front walk.

Project
A single-story home we built, inside and out. The same job carried on past the walls: deck steps, a pool deck, turf, and a black metal fence with matching driveway and walk gates.
White walls, a stone entry and wide glass to the back yard. The lights at the entry and along the walls were placed with the front walk.

Wide hardwood steps run from the glass doors down to the pool deck, so the back of the house opens straight onto the yard. The deck carries on past the pool to the detached building at the back, with room for a dining table and lounge seating on the way.

A black metal fence across the front, with a driveway gate and walk gates that match, and a long horizontal privacy fence along the pool. The fence frames the turf in front and closes the yard in back.
