Made for the opening
Old brick pillars are rarely square, so the frame is measured to the real opening, not a stock size. The arched top follows the vine arch above, and the gate swings clear of the brick on both sides.

Project
The brick pillars and the vine arch were already there. The gate was made to fit them: dark green wood boards in a black steel frame, with an arched top that follows the arch above. Built by our own crew.

Tight vertical boards in dark green sit inside a welded black steel frame, which keeps the gate from sagging. The latch and lock sit at hand height. The same build, with horizontal boards, closes a narrow side yard on another job.
